Brousseau Naftis Erick & Massingill has once again been recognized by Best Law Firms for excellence in family law. This recognition honors firms that demonstrate a high level of professional achievement, ethical standards, and client satisfaction.
Best Law Firms conducts a comprehensive evaluation process that includes client feedback, peer reviews, and an assessment of the firm’s overall professional reputation. To qualify for the publication, at least one attorney from each recognized firm must be included in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Name shareholder Elayna Naftis Erick made a repeat appearance on the list, which qualified the firm for 2026.
The firm’s family law section also includes attorney Arianna Smith and paralegal Crystal Guevara. With the firm’s other award-winning attorneys, the team develops holistic plans that support clients’ family law needs, as well as their estate planning, real estate and business priorities.

The firm’s Best Law Firms recognition isn’t the first firmwide honor for Brousseau Naftis Erick & Massingill this year. In August, the readers of Texas Lawyer named the firm’s family law practice one of the top three in Dallas for a second year.
Apart from Elayna’s Best Lawyers recognition, other individual members of the firm have been named to other notable publications. In September, shareholder Matthew Naftis was named to Texas Super Lawyers along with Elayna, while Super Lawyers: Rising Stars selected senior counsel Arianna Smith for their 2025 edition.
